They are an arboreal, new world species of tarantula. However, they do not have the urticating hairs associated with most new world species.
Psalmopoeus Victori or Mexican half & half, is a species of tarantula native to the humid forests of Veracruz, Mexico
Their name is a hint at their half black and half red coloration as adults as slings they are mostly black with pink bands that run across their toes.

This Tarantula reaches around 5 inches in length as adults and are prone to hide in their burrows and come out in the evening to hunt. 
Temperature: 68 - 82.4°F (20 - 28°C)
Recommended humidity: 70-80%
Their diet consists of crickets, dubia roaches, and mealworms,(Hornworms, Superworms can also be given on occasion)
Their enclosures as any arboreal species mainly should include branches/leaves to climb and a cork bark piece at the base for a burrow as well as a water dish (size accordingly).
