Remarks: Green Neon Tetras (Paracheirodon simulans) are one of the most common aquarium fish in the world. They are a great choice for beginners and small tanks, as well as large schools in larger tanks. They have small, silver bodies with a red abdomen and a green stripe from the caudal fin to the middle of their body. They should be kept in groups of at least 6 fish. A school of 10-15 will fit comfortably in a 10 gallon tank.
