Haitian Brown Tarantula

Scientific Name: Phormictopus Cancerides 

Common names: Hispaniolan Giant/ Hatian brown 

Type: Terrestrial/semi-fossorial, New World,

Growth rate/size: grows quickly up t 7 inches 

Temperature: up to 78-82 degrees Fahrenheit down to 68 75 degrees Fahrenheit 

Enclosure: Terrestrial tank (3-4x spider legspan) with deep substrate and water dish 

Diet: Crickets, Dubia Roaches, Mealworms 1x a week. feed according size (slings-pinhead, juvie- 1-2 sm/med Crickets, subadult 3-4 large crickets, Adult: 3-5 Large feeders (keep size of abdomen in mind). Good intermediate Tarantula to own.
