The Kilimanjaro baboon should be given thorough amounts of substrate to burrow, a water dish, and substrate should be kept fairly dry.(mist once a week). They are hardy tarantulas and devour their food swiftly. Ideally this species should be allowed cross ventilation in order to strive in their habitat. They should not be handled unless it is needed. (rehousing, escape, etc.). They should grow to around half their full size in about one year if fed and cared for properly. This tarantula is for experienced hobbyists.
