Tarantula - Gooty Sapphire

Scientific name: Poecilotheria Metallica, 

An Old World, arboreal species from southeast india

they grow to about 8" in diagonal length and have sexual dimorphism (females are brighter and more vibrant than males.) Females live to about 12 years and males around 4.

They are an aggressive species so experience with old world Tarantulas is highly recommended.
